History of Sri Venkateswara Medical College Alumni Association [SVMCAA]
After the successful graduation of 3 batches from S.V. Medical college, there was a motivation for SVMC old students to start SVMC old students Association (SVMCOSA) at S.V.Medical college, Tirupati on August 1970. From that day until today we have members from 60 batches of SVMC. This association later named as SVMC Alumni Association, successfully conducted Silver Jubilee Celebrations, millennium meet and Golden Jubilee Celebrations of S.V.Medical College in a grand way. The S.V.Medical college Alumni Association (SVMCAA) has been registered under the Societies Registration [ACT. No. 35 OF 2001]. (REGD.No. 142/2009) with District Registrar, Tirupati on 02-05-2009
With an idea of having proud successful and pioneering Alumni for better relation and bonding of old friends making together leads to the prestigious project of our mother medical school - "Golden Jubilee Knowledge home"

It has been a dream for all Alumni of SVMC to have a home to share our experiences and wisdom to future generations.
During the solid five years (2015-20) time, Dr.Ramesh Nath Lingutla, having shouldered the responsibility as the President of the SVMCAA along with the Executive committee did very best by putting all their efforts either in getting the land sanctioned for SVMC Alumni Association Building construction by the Government or in constructing the same throughout. “God has given them this great opportunity to give back their very best to their mother medical institution as such in converting our dream into a reality.
Our proud alumnus and major donor (Grand Benefactor) Dr.Premsagar Reddy was a driving force in this initiative.
This is our SVMCAA Building and that the same should be utilised very well for the development of medical education for the undergraduates, postgraduates, promotion of excellence in doctors' career and supporting all medical fraternity too as such strengthening our SVMC community for future generations.
The SVMC Alumni Association extends our sincere thanks to our major donor (Grand Benefactor) Dr. Premsagar Reddy and other donors (India and abroad ) for their immense contribution towards the construction of the Building and Dr.Ramesh Nath Lingutla and the then Executive committee for their untiring efforts towards construction of the building.
The SVMC Alumni Association building named as Dr. Prem Sagar Reddy Building [Grand Benefactor] is a campus destination, a welcome gateway for the global SVMC Alumni and a convention center to meet their former peers of Sri Venkateswara Medical College.
Main Objective
This Alumni Association building was built together by all of us to strengthen the bonding relations of Alumni. That dream became reality now.
Vision & Mission
Our vision is to maintain our lifelong affiliation with the mother institute. Hence, we dreamed a beautiful Alumni Association building. The perseverance efforts of our Alumni soldiers and donors globally our mission to build our nest in SVMC campus came true. It is a knowledge hub to cater the up to date global medical information to the young buds of our college and at the same time there will be the opportunity to intermingle the OLD with the NEW generation.
About Alumni Building
The Alumni Association building is three storey building having a knowledge room, an ultra-modern beautiful auditorium named as Dr. Jeereddi Prasad Auditorium [Benefactor] and cafeteria named as Dr. Nandhakumar Thiruvoipati [Grand Patron] with a 50 sitting capacity on the ground floor weather where breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks will be served every day.

The collegiate bond is formed at a SVMC last a lifetime. The last through generations, enriching professional careers for of a decades to come. With a good Alumni base, the time has come to build a true community focal point, a place to call home while celebrating SVMC's trailblazing past and visionary future.
- The three-storey building will serve as a resource for SVMC graduates and Alumni.
- We have a very beautiful cafeteria with a 50 sitting capacity on the ground floor weather where breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks will be served every day. And knowledge room with internet capability is available on the ground floor.
- At 300 capacity ultra-modern a acoustic air-conditioned auditorium constructed on the first floor where we can have CME's, Conferences, seminars, get together of batches, reunions and other cultural events.
